What is Yoga Satyananda Style?

Yoga in the Satyananda tradition is a holistic and classical approach to yoga.  The primary aim is to purify, strengthen and balance the body and mind, as well as the emotions - for improved health, overall well-being and spiritual growth.  The result of consistent practice is  a sense of fulfillment, inner peace and acceptance of self and compassion for others.  Practices are taught sequentially and progressively and offer practitioners a solid foundation for balanced living.  They are suitable for varying degrees of strength, flexibility and yoga experience.
